ColorNook ("we", "us") operates colornook.app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google

We receive your Google account email address and display name. We use this to create your account and to show your name in the interface. We do not receive your Google password or payment information.

Favorites

If you save a coloring page as a favorite, we store a reference to that page linked to your account. You can remove favorites at any time.

Usage analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not use cookies or store any personally identifiable information. Page views are counted using a short-lived, non-persistent hash that is never stored. No data is shared with third-party advertising networks.

Session cookies

When you sign in, we store a session cookie so you remain logged in between visits. This cookie is strictly necessary for authentication and contains no advertising or tracking information. It expires when you sign out.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and maintain your account
  • To save and display your favorites
  • To understand overall site usage so we can improve the service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate ColorNook:

  • Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the EU (AWS Frankfurt)
  • Vercel — hosting and analytics
  • Cloudflare — CDN and DNS for coloring page images
  • Google — OAuth sign-in provider

Each provider has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum information necessary for each service to function.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information and favorites for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and data deleted, email us at hello@colornook.app and we will remove it within 30 days.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@colornook.app.

6. Children

ColorNook is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The free coloring page library requires no account and collects no information.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
